TESTING ‘HUILE EXTRAORDINARY OIL’ by L’OREAL

Rebellious. That’s the word.
So glamorous it looks when it’s tamed by a professional hairdresser so wild and messy it gets when I try to brush my locks. So when I was asked to test this new miracle hair oil by L'Oréal many have been raving about I just got to try it.

The product comes in a glass bottle and is introduced as a product to tame unruly hair.
The oil treatment contains 6 flower extracts, namely lotus, tiare, rose, flax, chamomile and marticaria for a sumptuously smooth & soft result.

With roots in Belgium and Spain my manes are long, thick and especially high maintenance.
Over the years I created a routine with specific products and handlings to (try to) control my uncontrollable hair.
My main quest is to get rid of the dryness and frizziness (remember that one Friends episode when they go to Barbados and Monica’s hair changes into an afro due to high humidity?
well that’s me :)

After application, I immediately noticed my hair is well nourished, shiny and smooth.
And although I’m not the biggest fan of oil based product this one gets absorbed into the strands of hair easily leaving you with a non-greasy finish.

Another plus is that you can use it before shampooing/conditioning, wet/damp hair or throughout the day, so basically anytime, anywhere you feel like your hair needs some nourishment.

For me personally, the Elseve ‘Huile Extraordinary Oil’ does controls the frizziness in my hair quite well, although I will always need my other products and a straightener.
But then again, not everyone has hair as a rebellious toddler. And at 17,50€ this hair oil is definitely value for money and worth trying.
