A FALL MAKE UP LOOK

A fall inspired make-up look for light skin

Today I teamed up with professional make-up artist and good friend Stan Bonne to create a fall inspired make-up look.
I usually wake up and put a little foundation here and there, a little mascara and off we go.
But when I do want to look my best I call in the help of a professional.
Since I have a light skintone, especially in fall and winter, Stan used very little foundation and concealers to give me perfect but natural skin. He used earthtones on the eyes and a healthy glow on the cheeks.

We’re starting off by priming and hydrating the face

Step 1: Apply the foundation, Stan used a cream foundation palette by MUD, try not to rub the foundation in your pores but gently apply it with a sponge or foundation brush

Step 2: Add blue corrector under your eyes to neutralize the dark circels using a #320 shadow brush

Step 3: Apply red corrector on red spots on your skin and areas that need extra coverage using the #940 foundation brush by MUD

Step 4: Next step is shadowing the face to give it more dimension using the cream contour palette and the #940 foundation brush
Stan applied shadow underneath the cheekbone in a circular motion

Step 5:  He then used the same palette but the #320 shadow brush to highlight the upper cheekbone, forhead, chin and cupid's bow

Optional is applying the Light Scapade highlighting powder
by MAC using a fluffy brush

Step 6: set the cream foundation with the Zero Loose powder by MUD, especially focussing on the area underneath the eyes and on the eye lid.

Step 7: Start with combing the eyebrows into a nice shape using a desposable mascara wand, fill in the eyebrow with an eyepencil in taupe by MUD.
To keep the eyebrows in shape during the day use brow fix.

Step 8: Use a black eyeliner pencil to make your eyes pop and blend it out with the Zoeva smudge brush

Step 9: Apply eyeshadow on the eyelid using the MUD eyeshadow palette in color Sienna and finish it of with a darker shade Brownstone

Step 10: Add Mascara with a disposable mascara wand both by MUD

Step 11:  Hydrate your lips with a lip balm.
Stan used the Dervish lipliner by MAC. Afterwards filling in with Matteyash lipstick also by MAC.
