What to wear on a tropical island

My main aim for summer dressing is to look relaxed without compromising on my personal style

My main aim for summer dressing is to look relaxed without compromising on my personal style.
So I packed my trusty favorites like maxi dresses which are a  sophisticated choice as daywear (to put over your swimsuit) and always a top pick for more polished evenings.

Other holiday essentials when visiting hot exotic islands are loose-fitting tees, jeans or silken shorts or skirts and of course bikini’s and bathing suits.
Can’t bring enough of them as you’ll spend about 90% of your holiday in swimwear.

Cotton, linen and silk are the best fabrics to wear in hot weather.

Regarding the accessories, you want to keep your (already swollen) feet comfortable when it’s 35degrees outside so bring stylish flats or wedges. A hat is recommended just as (oversized) sunglasses to protect your eyes and skin from the blistering sun.
And feel free to mix-and-match with your stuff and try some new combinations/garments.

You’re on holiday after all.
